Description
This cross cut machine is designed for heavy duty sawmilling operations. It consists of a heavy duty main steel supporting frame incorporating two individual compartments. The one compartment incorporates the sawblade only, to prevent the sawdust from entering the other compartment. The other compartment incorporates the swivelling base on which the main spindle and bearings, as well as the V-belt pulley, is allocated.
The main drive motor is positioned outside the main steel frame. The operation of the sawblade is carried manually by a lever which has to be lifted. The machine incorporates a safety guard which covers most of the sawblade and still enables the log to be fed through a small opening.
