NCS 800
Drum chipper with drop-feed for production of pulp chips and chips for special purposes.
The machine is specially designed for chipping short waste wood, trimming ends, joinery waste, veneer, plywood etc. with large infeed openings. The combination of drop-feed, a large number of knives and excellent cutting geometry for short wood waste gives a superior chip quality. The chip length is as a standard, adjustable between 20 mm and 35 mm.
The machines are available with fans for blowing top discharge approximately 4m high.
Drum and Knives:
The positioning of the drum in relation to the anvil is thoroughly tested so as to give the most favourable chipping angle and thus the highest quality chips.
The drum is designed for fast and exact knife change. The length of the knife is already adjusted in the grinding room so that there have to be no knife adjustments in the chipper. The knife holders are designed with a self-releasing feature for quick exchange without removing the knife bolts.
The knives are easily accessible in that half of the chipper hood can be folded up to expose one half of the drum.
