Description
This board edger is designed as a roadworthy trailer having a total weight of 1500 kg and therefore is equipped with a run-over brake which is of the automatic reverse type. It is also equipped with lighting requirements for the trailer as specified by the SA Road Ordinance.
The Edger can easily double the board production of a portable sawmill. The manual set work of the moveable saws works via rack and pinion, and has accurate width adjustment for the various board sizes. The machine is also equipped with one set of kick-back fingers. The machine is driven by 18,5kW petrol engine which drives the saw spindle and feed rollers. The top rollers are spring loaded and the height is adjustable. The saw spindle consists of a 60mm ground shaft, supported by three bearings.
The machine will be equipped with four imported sawblades which are included in the price.
Option:
Electric: 22Kw 380 Volt electric motor, bottom rollers are driven by a 1,1 kW geared motor, top rollers and spring loaded and the height is adjustable.
Rip Saw: 37 kW electric motor, bottom rollers are driven by a 1,1 5W geared motor, top rollers are spring loaded and height is adjustable

Local Pickup – You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at 92 Op de Bergen Street Fairview, Johannesburg. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 2 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. Our in-store pickup hours are 08:00 – 16:00 on Mon – Fri. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.
Delivery (South Africa) – At this time we only offer delivery within South Africa. Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. If you haven’t received your order within 3 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@nukor.co.za with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you. You can expect your order within 2 – 5 business days.
