Description
This Log Edger is Nukor specially designed and manufactured for the mining timber packs to enable the sawing of short flitches from round logs. The machine incorporates a ‘holding down’ device. Logs can be sawn up to a maximum of 300mm diameter. However, the ‘holding down’ device can be removed and the maximum theoretical log diameter that may be cut is 400mm diameter.
The log edger is complete with main steel supporting frame, two-speed feed motor as well as 2 x 30 kW Squirrel Cage TEFC 1 470 Rpm motors. Also included are simple infeed bench including sprockets, feed chain and steel supporting structure to enable a maximum log cutting length of 2,4m.

Local Pickup – You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at 92 Op de Bergen Street Fairview, Johannesburg. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 2 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. Our in-store pickup hours are 08:00 – 16:00 on Mon – Fri. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.
Delivery (South Africa) – At this time we only offer delivery within South Africa. Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. If you haven’t received your order within 3 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@nukor.co.za with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you. You can expect your order within 2 – 5 business days.
